We are currently seeking a Scrum Master to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (US-LA), United States (US).

Role Summary: Primary focus is one of being a participative leader that provides guidance at the team and organization levels to promote an Agile culture through mentorship, coaching, scaling, applying best practices, facilitating events, radiating transparency, impediment removal, productive measurements, and developing practical metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Promotes and supports Agile frameworks for teams and the organization in collocated, distributed and fully remote environments.
• Promotes Agile principles, values, and practices, and facilitates an Agile mindset and cultural shift.
• Promotes an environment of trust, courage, respect, openness, transparency, self-organization, empowerment, continuous improvement, and psychological safety.
• Serves as a participative leader providing Agile advisory, consulting, and coaching at the team, program, portfolio, and/or organization levels.
• Helps organizations focus on maximizing value delivery, outcome predictability, built-in quality, and continuous learning, while increasing transparency and collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Helps organizations apply lean thinking to optimize process flow and minimize waste
• Assists with establishing OKRs, metrics and performance improvement measures.
• Provides Agile training and facilitates an Agile Community of Practice.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in Agile roles, with certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe).
• Experience working with remote teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Medicaid or similar systems preferred
