LOCATION : Remote or On-site (Phoenix, Camelback area)

  • YOU MUST HAVE IT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED

SUMMARY :

The CFO is responsible for providing strategic leadership on all critical financial areas throughout the bank. As the key liaison between the President & CEO, the Board, and management, the CFO will have direct oversight of all financially related matters. This position also oversees the IT department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Financial Management : Oversee the bank’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to all banking regulations and financial reporting standards, maintaining compliance with local, state and federal laws.
  • Financial Reporting : Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the board of directors and senior management, providing insights into the bank’s financial performance.
  • Strategic and Capital Planning : Collaborate with other executives to develop and implement strategic and capital plans goals and objectives, aligning financial strategies with the overall business plans.
  • Risk Management : Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring that the bank’s assets protected and that appropriate risk mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the department.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Communicate effectively with stakeholders, investors, regulators and employees, to build trust and transparency regarding the bank’s financial health.
  • Investment Portfolio : manage the portfolio while implementing and monitoring appropriate asset and liability management processes and systems.
  • Manage External Relationships : The CPA firm responsible for audit and tax and investment firms responsible for investment purchased and sales.
  • EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor Degree in accounting, finance or business administration
  • Current or past licensing as a CPA
  • Several years Banking experience
  • Ability to manage staff and projects
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer skills and proficiency
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • COMPENSATION :

    The annual compensation is based on years of experience. The range for this position is $150K - $200K annually. If you are remote the range is $125K - $150K. IF you are on site in Phoenix the range is between $150K - $200K. there is also an annual bonus with this position based on the performance of the bank in a fiscal year.
