Job Summary

The Data Science & Engineering team leverages internal data assets to deliver performant, scalable, and impactful data-focused solutions across the business. This team drives innovation by supporting modeling initiatives and collaborating with technology and business partners to unlock strategic opportunities and enhance guest-facing initiatives.

As a Senior Data Scientist on the team, your goals will be to deliver increased performance of our existing portfolio of in-market models and to develop new solutions that support strategic initiatives across the business. To reach these goals, you will utilize our proprietary first party guest database that is unmatched by any other company in the industry and collaborate closely with your teammates and our business partners

Job Specification :

  • Starting Wage :  $116,040.30 - $156,918.84 + annual bonus
  • Employment Type :  Year Round

Job Responsibilities :

  • Lead the data science project lifecycle, from problem definition to model deployment, with a focus on improving marketing, operations, and the guest experience
  • Collaborate with engineering team members to build and scale data-driven solutions
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business problems, solicit requirements, present findings, and drive model adoption
  • Design and execute tests to measure the business impact of models in production
  • Serve as a Data Science subject matter expert across the organization
  • Job Requirements :

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics)
  • At least 3-5+years of hands-on data science experience, including deploying and monitoring models in production
  • A demonstrated ability to design data-driven solutions that meet business needs accounting for data availability and technical implementations considerations
  • Expert understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of various machine learning algorithms and their associated performance metrics
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Experience with cloud platform / s (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP), with experience with big data platforms (e.g. Spark, Hadoop) a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Domain expertise in marketing preferred
  • The expected Total Compensation for this role is $116,040.30 - $156,918.84 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
