Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support to 3rd-5th grade students in a reputable school setting located in Oak Park, Illinois. This full-time, on-site position involves working Monday through Friday from 7 : 50 am to 3 : 10 pm, managing a caseload of 10-12 students in need of specialized educational services. The role offers a contract position with the potential for renewal based on performance and fit, welcoming new graduates to apply.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver tailored educational instruction and support to elementary students with special education needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to student development
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and school policies
