California Licensed Medical Biller

A company is looking for a Medical Biller.

Key Responsibilities

Verify patient eligibility with insurance and maintain communication with insurance carriers

Post, review, bill, and analyze superbills to ensure accuracy in ICD / CPT codes

Follow up on unpaid insurance claims and perform general clerical duties

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Proficient in computer and electronic billing systems

Previous medical billing experience, preferably in primary care billing

Coding certificates such as CCS, CPC, and CRC are a plus

Medical billing course certificate
