As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Hialeah, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Security Professional with Allied Universal assigned to a large distribution center location, you will play a key role in access control and security-related patrols. Your presence will help to deter incidents and create a welcoming environment for all individuals entering or exiting the facility. You will interact with staff and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and uphold the highest standards of integrity. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying the identity of individuals entering and exiting the premises.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations and / or concerns as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity.

Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, leaks, or suspicious persons at the location.

Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Assist with implementing established security-related procedures and protocols specific to the location.

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
