Chief Finance Officer

Scope

You report all of the organization’s fiscal operating results utilizing generally accepted accounting principles, ensuring the safeguard of the organization’s assets. You counsel senior management on fiscal control & profitability; prepare, present, & interpret financial reports to senior management; adhere to tax laws & regulatory compliance to properly reflect the financial position of the organization. You provide leadership, training, & supervision over the finance, accounting, IT & maintenance departments. You are responsible for assisting in the development of organization & department financial goals. You & your team are key contributors to generating AMAZING organizational results!

Accountabilities

• You develop accounting procedures that will result in timely, accurate & meaningful reporting of the organization's financial condition.
• You oversee the development of holding company, bank, department & subsidiary budgets.
• You coordinate the regulatory reporting process for the bank, holding company, & affiliates & you are active in regulatory examination management, communications, responding to requests & completing required reporting.
• You develop, implement & utilize branch & department accounting that ties to overall financial reporting & is a meaningful, workable tool for management.
• You oversee the report-generating vendor to ensure accuracy, completeness & timeliness. This involves the understanding & integration of technology data, reports & ensuring the right people are engaged to capture the revenue opportunities in our system.
