Coding Quality Auditor

A company is looking for a Coding Education & Quality Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

Perform audits of outpatient and professional surgical coding, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and payer policies

Support the coding quality assurance program and analyze audit results to identify educational needs and process improvements

Develop and deliver targeted education for coders and providers, and prepare client-facing audit summaries and reports

Required Qualifications

8-10+ years of coding experience, including outpatient and / or professional surgical coding

5+ years of coding quality auditing and / or coding education experience

Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and Medicare regulations

Experience with surgical specialties such as orthopedics and general surgery

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
