Large Cardiology Practice located in Kew Gardens, Queens, is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist that meets the following requirements:

- proven experience with insurance verification of commercial and HMO plans and ability to demonstrate understanding of technical medical terminology (e.g. copayment, deductible, coinsurance, primary/ secondary payor, referral),

- proven experience with obtaining prior authorizations for various exams through Evicore, AIM, Healthcare Partners websites, as well as directly from insurance companies via phone,

- ability to communicate professionally and efficiently on the phone and in person.
