Location : San Leandro, CA

Type : 12+ months Contract

Skill Set : Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Apache Flink, Kafka, Prompt Engineering

Technical Skills Must Have

5+ years of Core Java backend development experience

Kafka

RabbitMQ

PL / SQL

REST API

Experience with application development frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate

Experience with static code scanning tools such as Veracode and BlackDuck

Experience with agile, test-driven development

Experience in developing APIs and frameworks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good to Have

PCF

Experience with Unix / Linux, Windows

Experience with build, deploy, and test automation tools such as Ant, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools

CI / CD pipelines and Bamboo

Experience with OOA / OOD, distributed systems / software, real-time processing, relational database systems

Demonstrated experience working with core business logic within applications

Certifications

Certifications are a plus.

Job Duties / Requirements

Performs product design and troubleshooting exercises of extremely high complexity requiring extensive research and analysis

Leads system design and specification development, program logic and flow-charting, testing, debugging, and documentation; responsible for making complex design choices used by development teams

Leads complex programming tasks, reviewing various development tasks and documentation; provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions

Serves as a key contributor in client / technology interactions during the development of technology solutions

Interfaces with Enterprise Architecture and Application Security teams on strategic designs and initiatives

Leads troubleshooting of complex issues in development and production environments, ensuring timely resolution
