Med / Surg RN Job Details – Colorado Nursing Jobs

Location : Lone Tree, CO 80124 (Denver metro area)

Facility : 240-bed hospital

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7P - 7A)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1470 - $1570

Employment Type : Travel RN job

Flexible scheduling and low staff turnover

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Colorado or compact state)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

ACLS and BLS certifications required

NRP / PALS certifications preferred

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a clinical setting

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients

Administer prescribed treatments and medications

Set up ventilators and assist with intubations in ICU / NICU as needed

Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) and respiratory therapies

Educate patients and healthcare staff on care plans and procedures

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR system
