Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver teletherapy services to K12 students in the and around Henrico, VA. You will manage a virtual caseload, provide direct and indirect services, collaborate with educators and caregivers, and maintain required documentation, all from your own remote work setup.
Key Responsibilities
Provide live, synchronous teletherapy (direct services) to assigned students
Plan and deliver indirect services including assessments, progress monitoring, IEP / 504 updates, parent / teacher consultations
Maintain timely, accurate documentation (treatment plans, progress notes, reports)
Collaborate virtually with school staff, teachers, parents, and other professionals
Participate in IEP / eligibility meetings as needed via video conference
Adhere to state and local guidelines, compliance, and confidentiality (HIPAA / FERPA)
Maintain ongoing communication with Sunbelts Clinical Support Team
Qualifications / Requirements
Valid Virginia SLP license (or eligibility)
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent certification)
Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
Strong comfort level with technology (video conferencing tools, teletherapy platforms, digital collaboration tools)
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and manage virtual caseload
Reliable high-speed internet, computer with webcam, and quiet workspace
Preferred / Additional Qualifications
Prior experience with remote therapy / telepractice
Familiarity with virtual assessment tools
Experience collaborating with school districts and educational platforms
Hours & Schedule
Flexible; options for full-time (e.g. 3537.5 hours / week) or part-time
Monday through Friday scheduling typical, but may vary based on district needs
Some evening or makeup sessions may be required
