About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Laboratory Services to provide strategic leadership and operational management of its laboratory services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, driving innovation, and continuous improvement in laboratory processes and outcomes. This role involves overseeing staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance to maintain service excellence, as well as collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to align laboratory services with organizational goals. The Executive Director will also be instrumental in the growth and transformation of laboratory services to meet community needs and must support the mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in laboratory management, and a preference for 7 years. Expertise in regulatory compliance, particularly with CLIA and CAP standards, is essential. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage large teams effectively, and experience in developing and managing budgets and operational strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, be familiar with performance metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies, and be committed to promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional growth within the department.
