About The Position

Job Title : Radiology Tech - Interventional Radiology

Profession : Radiology

Specialty : Interventional Radiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience required; 2 years preferred

License : State licensed required

Certifications : ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS

Must-Have :

Scrub experience required

Neuro IR experience is a plus but not required

On-call required with a 30-minute response time

Rotating weekends required

Description :

You are applying for a position in a commonly impacted area for hurricanes.

The hurricane season will run from June 1 through November 30, but storms may occur outside this window.

Upon acceptance of this assignment, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team."

You will be expected to stay at the facility until the storm passes or be part of the relief team.

Specific details regarding pay will be communicated for each storm as impacts vary.

By signing your contract for this position, you accept these terms and will report as assigned by your unit manager if a storm occurs.

Please do not apply if you are uncomfortable with the above expectations.

You must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing your contract.

A minimum of 2 years of experience is required unless you have neuro and scrub experience, in which case 1 year is acceptable.

This position includes backfilling for a specific role and requires readiness for an ASAP start.

Candidates must have experience with various interventional radiology procedures and equipment.

Daily census includes a diverse patient population.
