Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians - Columbus, MS

United Trades of America is seeking highly skilled Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for a commercial project in Columbus, Mississippi . This is a local position , with NO PER DIEM offered. Pay is based on experience .

Position Details :

Job Title : Electrician
Location : Columbus, MS
Pay : Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
Industry : Commercial Electrical
Work Hours : Approximately 50 to 60 hours per week
Travel : Local candidates only (no travel, no per diem)

Key Responsibilities :

Install and maintain electrical systems for commercial projects, including industrial equipment installation

Run EMT conduit , pull wire, and perform terminations

Install and troubleshoot lights , receptacles , and other electrical components

PLC experience required for troubleshooting and system integration

Ensure electrical systems adhere to safety standards and project timelines

Ideal Candidate Qualifications :

Strong experience with EMT conduit , electrical installations , and PLC systems

Proven ability to follow safety protocols and work in a team-oriented environment

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

Must have own tools and PPE

Apprentices should have a foundational understanding of electrical work with a desire to learn
