PRN (As Needed) - Evening Shifts
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for PRN evening shifts. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to our residents, supporting their daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Key Responsibilities :Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, and report any changes to the nursing staff.Help residents move safely and comfortably, including transferring them to beds, wheelchairs, or other locations as needed.Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents; ensure proper infection control measures are followed.Provide companionship and support to residents, promoting emotional well-being and dignity.Assist with meal service and ensure residents receive proper nutrition according to their dietary needs.Document care provided and any observed changes in residents' conditions accurately and timely.Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for each resident.Qualifications :Education :High school diploma or equivalent.Certification :Kansas certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) mandatoryExperience :Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.Skills :Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to respond to patients' needs with empathy and understanding.Proficient in basic patient care techniques and understanding of hygiene practices.Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.Physical Requirements :Ability to lift and move patients or residents.Capability to remain on feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks.Adherence to safety protocols to prevent injury to self and residents.Work Schedule :This is a PRN position, specifically for evening shifts.
