Position Description : The Shadow Brook Community Tax Center is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Bilingual Intake-Floater Specialist for the 2026 tax season. The Intake Specialist will be the front line for our tax preparation service responsible for greeting clients, conducting eligibility screenings and assisting taxpayers in assembling all required information and documents. This position requires excellent people skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Floater Seasonal (starts in November)

Primary Duties / Responsibilities :

• Conduct intake interviews with clients, which include validating clients’ identities, screening for eligibility, reviewing client documents, and ensuring clients are ready to proceed in the tax preparation process
• Serve as a resource for clients by answering questions and providing high quality customer service
• Support site manager with operations tasks as needed
• Protect client confidentiality
• Complete all specified paid training and tax certifications (No previous experience is required, and support is provided throughout the season)
