Job description

We are seeking a skilled and board-certified Neurosurgeon to join our team in Lake Charles, Louisiana , to conduct Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) . This is a non-clinical, flexible opportunity that allows you to choose assignments based on your availability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review Medical Records : Analyze and interpret documentation related to neurological injuries and conditions.
  • Conduct Physical Examinations : Perform in-person neurological assessments to evaluate function, disability, and impairment.
  • Provide Expert Opinions : Respond to clinical and legal inquiries from insurance carriers and attorneys.
  • Complete IME Reports : Deliver clear, objective, and well-supported reports within a 5-day timeframe.

Position Highlights :

  • Flexible Scheduling : Accept or decline cases depending on your availability—no minimum requirement.
  • Competitive Pay : Compensation based on your personal fee schedule, paid per case.
  • Streamlined Process : All relevant records are provided in an organized format for your review.
  • In-Person Evaluations : IMEs must be conducted on-site in Lake Charles.

    • Qualifications :

  • Board-Certified Neurosurgeon
  • IME Experience Preferred (but not required)
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills
  • Ability to write concise, well-supported medical reports
