Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive DSV (Downstream Vendor) Management Associate to join our Compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of our downstream vendors, ensuring alignment with R2v3 and e-Stewards standards. You will be the key compliance liaison for vendor relationships — from onboarding and document management to audit preparation — playing a critical part in our commitment to ethical and responsible IT asset disposition.

Responsibilities

  • Own the onboarding process for all new downstream vendors, ensuring compliance documentation is collected and verified
  • Manage annual vendor recertification and update cycles
  • Maintain complete and accurate compliance documentation in SharePoint and ERP systems
  • Proactively research and source new vendors that align with organizational goals and compliance frameworks
  • Serve as the primary compliance point of contact for vendors, handling all audit-related coordination and document reviews
  • Support external audits by preparing vendor-related documentation in accordance with R2v3 and e-Stewards expectations
  • Ensure vendor records are accurate, current, and meet internal standards and external audit readiness
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to identify, onboard and evaluate performance of vendors
  • Use internal platforms including SharePoint, Monday.com, ERP, and Microsoft Office Suite for daily work
  • Occasionally analyze data and reports via Power BI and Metabase to monitor vendor compliance health
  • Additional items may be assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in vendor management, compliance, or a combination of both
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and document accuracy
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Monday.com, and ERP systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Basic understanding (or willingness to learn) of ITAD, electronics recycling, or reverse logistics industry
  • Knowledge of R2v3 is required; e-Stewards understanding is a plus
  • Preferred Education

  • Associate Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
  • Work Environment

  • This is a self-directed role requiring a proactive and disciplined work style
  • Collaboration with internal compliance and sales teams is expected, but day-to-day tasks are independently driven
  • The role may be remote, hybrid, or office-based, depending on candidate location and company setup
  • Travel is required up to 25%, including occasional vendor site visits and participation in audits or compliance events
