Director Remediation, Operational Design & Change Management
This Director Remediation, Operational Design & Change Management is a key member of the TDS US Finance Transformation Team. The role is a newly created role responsible for leading and managing change initiatives within the Finance function to evaluate and enhance the operational design of organizational structure, drive process improvements and ensure the successful delivery of transformation projects, remediation deliverables and system implementations. This role will partner closely with Finance leadership, governance and control teams, business stakeholders, and project teams to drive adoption, minimize resistance, and ensure Finance teams are fully prepared for change.
Strategic :
- Serve as team's change agent, questioning BAU, leveraging team knowledge and talent to streamline, enhance, and elevate process and regulatory execution.
- Design and develop robust processes with enhanced documentation, governance & control, simplification, and automation where applicable.
- Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize adoption and minimize resistance.
- Partner with Finance leadership and other key governance and control functions to identify change impacts, risks, and dependencies across people, processes, and systems.
- Create and deliver communication strategies to ensure stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with transformation initiatives.
- Design and execute training and upskilling programs to prepare Finance staff for new systems, processes, and tools.
- Collaborate with project teams to embed change management activities into project plans.
- Measure the effectiveness of change initiatives through adoption metrics, feedback, and performance indicators, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Function as a trusted advisor to Finance leaders, providing guidance on best practices for driving behavioral, cultural, and operational change.
- Build strong relationships across business functions to support smooth change adoption.
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset within the Finance organization.
Finance Change Management Responsibilities :
Provides leadership and guidance as a subject matter expert for process re-engineering.Oversees and executes the TDS NY Finance Runway strategy inclusive of data integrity & process automation.Develop alignment and best practices amongst TDS and TDGUS partners for TDS Finance processes.Provides guidance to staff on implementation of various change delivery initiatives as part of Runway and FRB RemediationChampions best practices from an internal, industry, and FRB perspective to maintain key controls and analytics to ensure integrity of both internal and regulatory reports.Enhances analytics and business intelligence provided to internal customers.Support continuous improvement and automation efforts related to the regulatory & management reporting processes providing insight and innovative thinking to re-engineer processes and support automation project initiatives.Education & Experience :

The Director Finance TDS oversees a significant Business Finance unit / specialized Finance function / operational group or centre of expertise that provides analysis, reporting, guidance and advice to various internal stakeholders and external parties.
Depth & Scope :
Oversees a team of Finance professionals for key business segments or a significantly large part of the organization.Requires in-depth shareholder and / or broad financial and business perspective.Accountable for setting strategy / objectives for own Finance unit based on direction from executive management.Scope may include integration of activities and Finance support for several key business lines.Focuses on longer-range issues dealing with and solving highly sensitive, confidential and / or multifaceted and complex financial management issues.Acts as primary interface and high level resource to Business leaders on financial performance measures / business objectives / goals.Education & Experience :
