Job Title : Certified Surgical First Assist

Experience : 1+ years of First Assist experience required

License : CSFA Certification required

Certifications : BLS (AHA) required; NBSTSA required

Must-Have :

• Proficient in orthopedic procedures, specifically total joints, hip fractures, arthroscopy, ORIFs, and shoulder scopes and replacements
• Proficient in Davinci robotics
• Proficiency in vascular procedures
• Proficiency in neuro procedures

Description :

Surgical Technologist-First Assistants are responsible for performing at a competent level of practice according to the standards for the area.

They perform patient care and service through a multidisciplinary team approach.

They provide assistance in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled cases.

The role requires functioning to maintain an environment of caring and concern for patients and staff members according to principles of patient-focused care and customer service.
