As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Carry and maintain control over authorized firearms in accordance with company policies and site-specific requirements. Monitor access points and check identification or credentials as needed to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas. Complete detailed and accurate reports related to security-related incidents, patrol activities, and observations during the shift. Communicate and coordinate with law enforcement and / or emergency services when necessary, ensuring timely and appropriate response to incidents. Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing patrols and other security-related duties at the designated location. Minimum Requirements : Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
