Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology (IR)

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 10-hour shift days; 7 : 30 AM start time, Monday to Friday, no call, no weekends

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have : Experience with Cerner highly preferred

Job Description :

• Complete a general orientation, usually a week long, including training on the TEAM timekeeping system.
• Prior to assignment, complete My Journey modules, which take 8-10 hours on average.
• Hair must be a natural color, with no gel or acrylic nails, visible tattoos, facial piercings, or dangle earrings. Hoodies or sweatshirts / jackets are not allowed.
• Floating only within the facility is required. Travelers are first to float and will move to areas within their skillset. Strict policies on absences.
• Known as the Gateway to nearby attractions, providing a diverse area perfect for several weekend getaways.
• Cancellations policy allows up to 4 shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment and 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
• Area-specific competency exam required.
• Use of healthcare technology such as Alaris, GE Omnicell, and Cerner.
• The facility affiliates with a family medicine residency program.
