POSITION DETAILS :

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated part-time General Surgery Physician Assistant to collaborate with our esteemed team of surgeons in providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with surgical procedures, managing pre-and post-operative care, and contributing to the overall efficiency and excellence of our surgical services.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Assist in Surgical Procedures :  Work closely with the surgical team to assist in various general surgery procedures, including but not limited to laparoscopic surgeries, appendectomies, hernia repairs, and colorectal surgeries.

• Pre and Post-Operative Care :  Manage pre-operative assessments, including patient history and physical examinations. Provide post-operative care, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the surgical team to optimize recovery.
• Patient Education :  Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, post-operative care, and any necessary lifestyle modifications. Ensure clear communication regarding treatment plans and expectations.
• Collaboration with Medical Team :  Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
• Documentation :  Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including medical histories, progress notes, and treatment plans, in accordance with established protocols.
