Established in 2022, our academy aims to utilize gymnastics as a positive and healthy learning experience to teach children lifelong skills and promote self-confidence. We offer a diverse range of programs, including recreational gymnastics classes and USA Gymnastics teams catering to ages 1.5-18 years old.
Job Description :
We are currently seeking an experienced Competitive Development and / or Xcel Team Gymnastics Coach to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate should embrace positive coaching principles, possess experience coaching and spotting through Xcel Gold and / or Level 4. This position involves leading assigned groups, assisting fellow coaches across all events, providing corrections, spotting, and contributing to technique development. The role is initially part-time with the potential to transition to a full-time position as our team expands.
About Our Team :
Warriors Gymnastics Academy, since its opening in 2022, has grown to include around 40 competitive team members ranging from Xcel Silver to Platinum and Level 3-7.
Responsibilities :
Lead assigned groups within the competitive development and Xcel teams.
Collaborate with fellow coaches on all events, offering corrections, spotting, and aiding in technique development.
Adhere to Warriors Gymnastics Academy policies, objectives, and safety regulations.
Create and implement effective lesson plans tailored to each group's needs.
Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment for gymnasts.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding gymnasts' progress and achievements.
Willingness to assist and contribute to other gymnastics programs within the facility.
Attend relevant meets and events on weekends as required.
Participate in administrative tasks related to the team.
Knowledge of gymnastics equipment for maintenance and cleaning.

Qualifications :
Previous coaching experience with competitive development and / or Xcel teams.
Strong belief in positive coaching principles.
Familiarity with USA Gymnastics programs and regulations.
Experience coaching and spotting through Xcel Gold or Level 4.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Comfortable providing corrections, spotting, and aiding in technique development.
High energy, passionate, and motivated.
Passion for promoting self-confidence and lifelong skills through gymnastics.
Availability to work evenings and weekends, including attending meets.
