Job Title : Gross to Net Sr. Accountant

Job Description

A leading manufacturer of generic drugs is seeking a Sr. Accountant with expertise in Gross to Net accounting. This role is essential for managing and overseeing the financial operations related to cost accounting, revenue side activities, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

Perform cost accounting activities including cost of goods sold (COGS), raw materials, and labor costs.

Manage intercompany transactions and consolidations.

Execute journal entries and conduct variance analysis.

Handle Gross to Net related activities including cash receipts, accruals, Medicare rebates, and manage credit memos and debit notes from chargebacks and deductions.

Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in cost accounting and understanding of COGS.

Experience with intercompany transactions and consolidations.

Strong skills in variance analysis.

Knowledge of Gross to Net processes, including deductions and chargebacks.

Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.

Experience in the manufacturing industry is advantageous.

Work Environment

Join a dynamic accounting team of six, including a CFO, a General Manager, a Sr. Accountant, a Contracts Analyst, and two Jr. Accountants. The work environment is business casual. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with extended hours during month-end to ensure a tight 4-day close. Reports must be submitted to the Global Headquarters by the 6th of each month.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00 / hr.
