Position Summary :

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Principal Civil Engineer to take the lead on design efforts and ensure the successful execution of land development projects. In this critical leadership role, you will guarantee that our projects meet high standards of quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. This position requires strong civil engineering expertise, especially in site design and stormwater management within New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and review of site plans and civil engineering drawings for a variety of development projects.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed development plans including site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, and more.
• Conduct soil permeability testing and analyze results.
• Act as the technical point of contact for clients and participate actively in design and coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with utility coordination standards and local flood hazard regulations.
• Utilize industry-standard modeling software for detailed stormwater management design.
• Prepare necessary project documentation and assist in permitting and regulatory processes.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and drafters in adopting technical design standards and best practices.
