A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work 3x12 night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX)
• Work in 8-bed Medical ICU with 1 Critical Care Technician per shift
• May be required to float in-house to Med / Tele or ED / GSU units
• May float to Regional campus including trauma / surgical ICU, Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU, Step-Down ICU, or Tele units
• Must pick up an additional 12-hour shift every 4 weeks
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve Day = 1 holiday)
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Work with set group of intensivists who rotate weeks with 24 / 7 on-call coverage

The facility operates as a Level 2 trauma center with stroke accreditation and features 800 inpatient beds and 80 emergency room beds.
