YOUR IMPACT

The cultivator is responsible for plant maintenance, observing and reporting suspicious activity, providing safety and protection for our employees and property, and maintaining the cleanliness and operational integrity of the facility. You will be integral to maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (Key Responsibilities)

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform three distinct areas of essential duties :

A. Facility Security & Compliance

Surveillance & Patrol : Conduct detailed sweeps of the building and surrounding property. Monitor property access using surveillance systems and visual surveillance while on foot patrol.

Incident Management : Observe and report suspicious activity, identify subjects, and provide detailed physical descriptors. Draft clear and concise incident reports for all occurrences.

Safety & Communication : Communicate and liaise with law enforcement, fire departments, and other first responders, if needed.

Team Support : Establish and maintain working relationships, and provide assistance to managers and employees to enhance safety and security on an ongoing basis.

B. Hands-On Cultivation & Plant Care

Watering & Nutrients : Water plants manually or using automated systems, ensuring proper hydration. Prepare and apply nutrient solutions and supplements according to established protocols.

Harvesting & Processing : Assist with the harvesting process, including cutting down plants, trimming, and bucking. Follow established procedures for handling and processing harvested cannabis.

Record Keeping : Catalog and analyze each individual strain from clone to harvest. Account for each by-product type processed off the flower (stems, fan leaves) for proper waste tracking.

C. Janitorial

Provide support for the opening and closing procedures of the facility.

Maintain a clean and hygienic floor, and ensure overall cleanliness and organization in all work areas.

WHAT YOU BRING (Qualifications)

Required Qualifications :

Age Requirement : Must be at least 21 years of age.

Education : High school diploma or a general education degree (GED) is required.

Licensure : Must possess the ability to acquire and maintain a Live Scan card through the State of California.

Experience : In the cannabis industry is highly recommended, but not required.

Communication : Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience communicating effectively and professionally with all customers.

Discretion : Ability to maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding all company matters.

Work Ethic : Motivated, self-starter with a high sense of urgency, consistently demonstrating integrity, honesty, reliability, and dependability.

Availability : Flexible scheduling with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Experience :

Previous experience in the security field and customer service, but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is dynamic and requires consistent focus and physical endurance. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.

Lifting : Must occasionally lift and / or move up to 45 pounds.

Movement : Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, carry, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to maintain focus for extended periods.

Environmental Exposure : The employee is regularly exposed to strong cannabis odors and is frequently required to handle cannabis products. The work environment also includes exposure to environmental particles such as pollen and plant pathogens, fertilizer, dust, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, and other environmental variables.

Sensory : Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
