Central Sterile Technician
Under the guidance of the Central Sterile Manager, this role plays a vital part in delivering safe, high-quality patient care. The Central Sterile Technician ensures surgical teams are fully equipped by preparing, sterilizing, and maintaining instruments, supplies, and equipment. With attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, this position supports seamless surgical procedures and contributes to positive patient outcomes—without direct patient interaction.
Hourly Pay Rate : $24.96 - $36.82
Education :
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Associate degree preferred.
Experience :
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of Sterile Processing experience in all surgical specialties that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Strong leadership skills and prior experience managing assets or systems are highly desired.Certification / Licensure :
Must have Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) and CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist) from IAHCSMM within one year of position start date.Ambulatory Clinics : Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. You must present your actual card within 90 days of applying for a fingerprint clearance card.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Must have strong leadership skills.Knowledge of managing assets or systems is highly desired.Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with many interruptions.Knowledgeable of surgical instrumentation.Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and other related software applications.Strong communication skills.Requires the ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.PIfb466ba43c82-30511-38700049
