Job Title : Level 3 RN Endo / GI Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Endoscopy / Gastroenterology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : M-F Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : 2 years of Endo / GI experience License : Client RN License Certifications : BLS Certification (AHA ONLY) Must-Have : - NYS RN License - BLS Certification - 2 years of Endo / GI experience Description : The role involves answering patient questions and addressing their concerns. You will observe patient vital signs. Sedating patients before procedures is a key responsibility. You will recover patients after procedures. Administering necessary medication to patients is required. You will complete all necessary documentation, including patient notes and discharge documents. Preparing the instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure is essential. Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use is required. Providing assistance to physicians throughout the procedure is expected. Administering IV drips is part of the role.
