Financial Analyst III - BE7 Engines

This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

You will be responsible for leading the financial management of the BE-7 Engine Programs. This role will work directly with Program Management, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to identify recurring cost drivers and cost reduction opportunities in the BE-7 Development, Qualification, and Production Line. You will be responsible for providing critical financial insights and analysis to business leaders and key stakeholders. You will apply fundamentals of project management, provide critical financial insights, and drive performance improvement to ensure successful execution of initiatives to meet financial targets and business goals.

Responsibilities :

Recommend and implement operational improvement measures, key performance indicators, and potential cost reduction opportunities across the program

Help build and continuously improve financial models in Excel including scenario and sensitivity analysis based on different factors.

Analyze and identify financial data required to support the BE-7 development, qualification, and production programs.

Lead the multi-year planning, annual planning, and business case planning for the BE-7 Development and Production programs.

Creation of content and ability to present data to support program, financial and operations reviews.

Data mining sophisticated data sets.

Performs risk & opportunity analyses and provide potential solutions. Work with BE-7 program technical leads and Finance team to develop recovery plans.

Qualifications :

Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or analytical field.

Proven experience in leading projects or teams, preferably within manufacturing or R&D environments.

5+ years of post-graduation financial analysis experience.

Understanding of underlying business processes and the impact of financial decisions.

Experience with data mining across data sets.

Excellent written communication and presentation skills.

Intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency including Pivot tables, Vlookups etc.

Position is based in Blue Origin's Renton WA offices.

Desired :

MBA, or Master's Degree in Finance.

Experience with BI tools - Tableau, Power BI, Databricks or others preferred.

Experience with SQL preferred.

Compensation Range for :

WA applicants is $100,997.00-$141,395.10
