For the position of Social Media Coordinator, we are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and enthusiastic team member to support the development and execution of the firm's internal and external communications. They will play a key role in cultivating and growing the firm's social media presence, and developing, supporting, and promoting the firm's marketing initiatives across all channels. Along with helping to manage organic marketing channels, this position takes an active role in paid social media and search engine marketing campaigns. The Social Media Coordinator collaborates with and assists the digital marketing, media, content, and branding teams on developing social media marketing campaigns and on all tasks associated with campaign-based efforts.

This position works closely with other Client Development teams, senior department leadership and lawyers across the full lifecycle of social media and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the ongoing development and execution of the firm's social media strategy, ensuring alignment with the firm's overall strategic objectives and brand messaging.
• Write content for social posts optimized for various Firm channels.
• Assist with the development of innovative and reputation-enhancing social media marketing campaigns, collaborating with the content, media, awards, branding, digital marketing, digital media, events, and business development teams to create unique content.
• Under the direction of senior Client Development management and in collaboration with the digital marketing team and external vendors, set up, run and track social media and search engine marketing ad campaigns, particularly on LinkedIn, Meta, and Google.
• Liaise with the design and branding team to create branded imagery and content that aligns with the firm's identity and messaging and collaborate with the design and branding team to develop improved and new approaches to social post layouts.
• Assist with maintaining and executing the social media calendar by scheduling posts across platforms and ensuring content is published consistently and on time.
• Take a key role in running and socializing the use of the firm's social advocacy platform, including helping to manage content feeds and email newsletters, onboarding lawyers to the platform, promoting the benefits of using the platform and running reports on engagement within the platform.
• Using the firm's media monitoring tools, assist with the monitoring of social media channels for relevant mentions, sentiment analysis, and emerging trends related to the firm's interests.
• Assist in the creation and dissemination of regular, detailed social media performance reports analyzing engagement metrics, reach, and related data to inform strategy adjustments and measure success.
• Serve as a member of the editorial board for the firm's internal newsletter, involving helping to ideate story ideas, planning the editorial calendar, conducting interviews of firm personnel featured in the newsletter and writing content for newsletter features.
• Attend firm events and conferences as needed to develop social media posts and marketing content related to those events and activities.

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer's office on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $60,000-$75,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job.
