Healthcare Setting : Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital

Unit : Main Operating Room (21 OR suites; all surgical specialties)

Contract Type : Travel Nursing Job

Start Date : November 24, 2025

End Date : February 23, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (6 : 30am – 5 : 00pm), holiday rotation

Hours per Week : 40

On-Call : Up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks

Weekend Requirement : Up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks

Floating : May float within scope to meet facility needs

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1820-$1870

Operating Room RN Qualifications

Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State / Compact Registered Nurse license

Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience (2 years preferred)

BLS certification required

Radiation badge (provided by agency)

Experience in Level I Trauma Center preferred

Scrub nurse experience strongly preferred

First-time travel nurses accepted

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Circulate and scrub for surgical procedures : trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics

Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, academic healthcare environment

Participate in on-call rotation and weekend shifts as required

Float between operating room units to support hospital operations

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC charting system
