Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Hardeeville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tue 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism in a healthcare environment.
  • Conduct both scheduled and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe for unusual conditions.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or breaches of procedures within the healthcare location.
  • Collaborate with staff and local authorities as appropriate to address security-related concerns and support the overall environment of care.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Remain visible and approachable to assist employees, visitors, and patients with directions or inquiries as part of the customer service commitment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
