Staff Accountant

Job Description
Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory accounting.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements.
Analyze manufacturing costs, overhead, and variances to support management decision-making.
Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, depreciation, and capital expenditures.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Assist with audits and internal controls as needed.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and operations teams to reconcile accounts and review cost allocations.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
