Job description

Overview

We are seeking a Medical Oncologist to provide locum coverage at a cancer institute in Pennsylvania. This is an outpatient-based opportunity with an immediate start and ongoing need through August 2026.

Position Details

  • Specialty : Medical Oncology (Hematology / Oncology or Hematology also accepted)
  • Setting : Outpatient clinic only
  • Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM
  • Call : None no call or holiday coverage required
  • Start Date : As soon as credentialed
  • Minimum Commitment : 2 weeks per month for at least 4 6 months
  • EMR : Epic

Responsibilities

  • Manage a mix of new and established outpatient oncology / hematology patients
  • Order and oversee patient treatment plans
  • Review and manage lab results and in-basket items
  • Collaborate with on-site RN and office support staff

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology / Oncology, or Hematology
  • Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC or LOQ accepted)
