Responsibilities Work in an interventional radiology unit specializing in cardiology procedures Day shift schedule consisting of 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM with a rotating weekday off On-call is required, including one weeknight per week and weekend call every 4-6 weeks or as needed Call teams consist of 2 technologists and 1 nurse May be required to perform both IR and CT Tech procedures Experience with Epic charting is preferred Team-based call responsibilities include rotating weeknight and weekend coverage Travelers may need to wear a mask if not vaccinated for COVID-19 No requested time off (RTO) allowed within the first two weeks of the assignment; maximum of 14 days RTO with no more than 7 consecutive days First-time travelers are considered on a unit-dependent basis Retired Texas Retirement System employees must be separated from employment for one full year before consideration Requirements Current ARRT with Texas state license or RCIS (CCI) required; license required if applicable At least three years of relevant experience highly preferred, especially for first-time travelers Experience in both interventional radiology and CT Tech roles required Completion of a specialty-related certification or license prior to consideration Ability to update resume and provide a full 7-year work history with all gaps explained Willingness to work 2 of the 3 major holidays that fall within the contract period Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629570.
