What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the education environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help deter unwanted activity and / or address concerns as they arise.

Observe and report security-related incidents or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help deter unauthorized access and / or disturbances.

Communicate clearly and professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors as part of daily responsibilities.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and onsite contacts to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements

A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
