Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in both CT and X-ray modalities with current ARRT certifications and at least 2 years of recent clinical experience.
Responsibilities
Work within a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital on the CT Tech unitMulti-modality role including CT and X-ray imagingNight shift position working 3x12s, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM, with every 3rd weekend requiredMay float to similar units as needed within clinical scopePatient populations include emergency, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic casesUses Siemens equipment and Epic EMR; experience with both highly preferredPACS system is utilized for imaging workflowProvide high-quality imaging and patient care across CT and X-ray modalitiesExplain procedures and ensure patient understanding and preparation for examsWork collaboratively within a large team in a Magnet-designated environmentMust adhere to specific scrub attire : teal blue top and black bottomsParking available for a one-time $20 fee for nights and weekendsMust be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)All requested time off must be declared at submission; no additional RTO after acceptanceOnline modules must be completed pre-startRequirements
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in both CT and X-ray requiredRegistered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (CT)SCRQSA, BLS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)Experience with emergency, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic exams highly preferredFamiliarity with Siemens equipment and Epic EMR highly preferredRadiation badge must be provided by the agencyTravelers must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay; locals considered at local rateFirst-time travelers will not be consideredProof of SSN and valid driver’s license required for considerationPrevious employees must have a one-year separation from previous employment at the facilityLicense required if applicableBenefits
