Algona, Iowa, Family Medicine - Obstetrics Job Clinical Role :

• Candidates must be Board Eligible (with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine AND OB Fellowship-trained (fellowship must be completed prior to start)
• Must be able to perform C-sections
• Busy practice with instant volume
• Join 8 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
• Call for OB / Hospitalist - 1 : 9; call for C-sections - 1 : 3
• Full spectrum family medicine - including surgical obstetrics, ER, and hospitalist
• Specialists available - including Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, Ortho, etc
• Lab, x-ray, sleep, MRI, CT, mammography, nuclear med, PT, RT, OT, and ER all on site
• 25-bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic
• Level III Trauma Center and regional referral teaching center
• Covering 14 counties, includes eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota
• Service area approximately 260,000
