X-Ray Technologist
Job Summary : To perform quality radiographic imaging in an office setting. This position will have unrestricted access to protected health information (PHI) pertaining to patients.
Essential Functions :
Perform all radiographic imaging including but not limited to DEXA exams and fluoroscopy as ordered by a physicianFollow quality assurance guidelinesReview paperwork and explain testing to the patientComplete and prepare surgeons operating films and paperworkProcess and develop filmsProperly complete encounter forms, billing and documentation on patient's chartAdhere to equipment standards and careSchedule patients for examination using the computerOrder supplies as requiredClean and stock X-ray departmentResponsible for recording all incoming and outgoing radiology studiesCore Competences :
