What you will be doing :Assign and manage daily shop tasks to ensure efficient use of employee time, maintain workflow priorities, and drive on-time job completionOversee and support employees, including training, performance check-ins, and development goals.Perform quality control throughout production and on finished products.Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols; lead safety culture initiatives and meetings.Monitor and coordinate maintenance of shop tools, machinery, and company vehicles.Conduct daily production walks checking in with each employee and lead weekly production meetings to address issues and drive improvements.Maintain organized shop environment, enforce documentation standards, and communicate updates to the Production Manager.Qualifications :Minimum 5+ years cabinet manufacturing or related experience,2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.Strong ability to assign, delegate, and prioritize tasks to ensure jobs are completed on time.Skilled at reading and interpreting drawings.Preferred proficiency in safe and efficient use of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and troubleshooting shop equipment.Solid knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance; proven history of building and enforcing a strong safety culture.Experience training, mentoring, and evaluating employees, including performance reviews and corrective actions.Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—for employees, documentation, and management reporting.Dependable, punctual, and highly organized with a proven record of reliability.Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities; able to foster a positive and accountable shop culture.What we offer :Competitive salary based on experiencePaid vacation, sick leave, and holidaysHealth and dental insuranceConsistent full-time schedule : four 9-hour days plus a half-day on FridaysOpportunities for professional growth and advancement within the companyJob Type : Full-time
