Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth. Job Summary
The Director of Emergency and Trauma Services assumes administrative responsibility for fiscal management, human resources, quality improvement programs, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, coordinating, and promoting the delivery of patient care for our Lawrence campus. Using the principles of Transformational Leadership and Structural Empowerment, the Nursing Director has accountability for managing resources (human, material and financial) to ensure quality, cost-effective delivery of culturally competent patient services for specific patient populations, in one or more units. Is recognized as a professional role model and promotes a professional environment that supports continuous learning, employee and patient satisfaction. This is accomplished by direct action, delegation, coaching and support of unit-based shared governance councils.

Education and Related Experience
Required : + Bachelor's Degree. + Minimum of 5 years experience in the Medical / Surgical and Critical Care areas of an acute care hospital, with 35 years of progressively more complex administrative responsibility. + Computer literacy. Preferred : + Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration.
