LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Pathology MD in Elkins, West Virginia, 26241!

Pay Information

$200 per hour

About The Position

Pathology Locums - West Virginia, 6-Month Assignment

Full-time pathology assignment in West Virginia with onsite histology support and flexible call arrangement.

Highlights

6-month assignment starting December 1
Full-time schedule with predictable hours
Supportive lab with histotechs and senior techs onsite
Frozen section and cytology skills required
Open to IMLC physicians

Practice Setting

Mix of inpatient and outpatient

Community hospital with Level 4 trauma designation

Floating role across multiple lab sites

Strong team : 2 histotechs, system director, and senior lab techs

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm

Call includes weeknights and weekends (rotated with team)

Call mostly related to blood bank issues (1-2 per week)

Cases and Procedures

Includes frozen sections and cytology (urine, bronchial, fluids)

FNAs, biopsies, and gallbladders grossed by histotechs

Mostly adult patient population with occasional pediatric smears

Requirements

Board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology

Active West Virginia license or IMLC eligible

DEA, BLS, ACLS certifications required
