Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Primary Responsibilities :
- Provide EHS support to ensure a safe and quality working environment in compliance
with government regulations and company procedures.
Assist with the completion of various EHS related projects / tasks.Develop and implement various NA EHS written programs, procedures, and workinstructions.
Assist in ergonomic assessments and improvements.Conduct regulatory safety audits utilizing the iAuditor tool.Review, develop and implement specific EHS training programs.Assist with coordination and implementation of EHS related training.Audit all WH operational training program and report monthly (including EHS related andWH operation MHE, Handling, etc)
Investigate accidents and incidents.Create, maintain, and oversee the compliance calendar for all regulatory requirements.Conduct risk assessments, job safety analysis, and other evaluations as necessary.Maintain training records and OSHA logs and prepare periodic reports for review.Identify and take corrective action against activities that pose potential threats toworkers health or safety, which may include recommending organizational measures to
protect workers safety through revised methods, processes, or materials; inspecting
workplace environments, equipment, and / or practices to ensure compliance with
standards and regulations; and investigating and / or identifying causes regarding filed
incidents.
Help design and implement the EHS programs and culture throughout the companyswarehouse operation for its clients including LG Electronics
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience of EHS specifically in, with over 10 years of overallexperience of EHS in warehouse.
Bachelors degree program at an accredited College / UniversityEnvironment, Health, & Safety related major is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)Ability of reporting skill required.In-depth understanding of safe workplace practices and programs.Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations and other applicable EHS laws andguidelines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to multi-task.Will be required to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time (e.g., facility audit mayrequire several hours of walking).
