As a Uniform Attendant, you will be responsible for managing the uniforms of our team members and ensuring that each uniform is clean, pressed, and maintained to the highest standards, in line with our aspiration of achieving Forbes 5-Star excellence. You will oversee the process of receiving, inspecting, and distributing team member uniforms, handling dry cleaning services, and ensuring timely pick-ups and deliveries. Additionally, you will manage inventory levels, inform the manager when new uniforms or supplies need to be ordered, and handle minor repairs, such as hemming or button replacements. You will also provide guest clothing cleaning and pressing services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Your role is essential in maintaining the professional appearance of our team members while supporting the luxury service standards we uphold.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

• Receive, inspect, and record all soiled uniforms, sending them out for cleaning and pressing, while ensuring proper handling and timely processing
• Maintain an organized and efficient uniform inventory, keeping track of team member needs and reporting restocking requirements to the manager
• Coordinate uniform pick-ups and drop-offs with dry cleaning services, ensuring schedules are adhered to and all uniforms are returned in pristine condition
• Handle minor repairs such as hemming, button replacements, and other alterations to keep uniforms looking their best
• Provide laundry, pressing, and sewing services for guest clothing, ensuring that all items are treated with care and returned to guests promptly
• Ensure all uniforms and linens are cleaned, pressed, and stored appropriately, with a focus on attention to detail and luxury service standards
• Ensure the uniform room is kept organized, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Respond promptly to guest requests for laundry, pressing, and other clothing services, ensuring they are met in a timely, professional manner
• Support the hotel's operational needs by performing additional tasks as necessary, including assisting with room attendant duties or other housekeeping-related activities

The rate of pay for this role is $30.30- $40.07 and is based on applicable and specialized experience.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with seamstress experience, capable of using both a sewing machine and hand-sewing light alterations to ensure uniforms and guest clothing are always in perfect condition. You should have a passion for providing exceptional service, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage inventory, dry cleaning coordination, and uniform repairs. A flexible schedule and the ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail are essential in this role.
