As a New Grad RN in our Emergency Department, you'll start your nursing career with hands-on experience in a supportive environment. This is an immediate opportunity for recent graduates to begin their journey in nursing at Mary Washington Healthcare.
What You'll Do
- Direct and coordinate nursing care, ensuring patient outcomes through teamwork.
- Involve patients and families in care planning and discharge processes.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care.
- Assist in defining standards of excellence for patient care and participate in quality improvement.
- Engage in daily operational activities to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide input on unit needs to the Nurse Manager.
- Participate in committees to help shape nursing and hospital policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
