Operations Manager

Penn Tank Lines is looking for an Operations Manager to lead daily operations at our fuel transport terminal in Mechanicsburg, PA. In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee dispatch, driver coordination, load planning, safety, and customer service - ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable deliveries every day. The right candidate will value teamwork, attention to detail, and consistent communication with drivers, customers, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily dispatching and scheduling for on-time fuel deliveries
• Monitor performance metrics and address issues proactively
• Support safety programs and ensure DOT / OSHA compliance
• Provide leadership and support to dispatchers and drivers
• Serve as the point of contact for driver needs, customers, and corporate teams
• Resolve service issues and help improve customer satisfaction
• Identify operational improvements and support new technology rollouts
