Maintenance Worker

The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners will be accepting applications for a Full-Time Maintenance Worker position. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and support of all County buildings, grounds and facilities system, ensuring they are safe, functional and well maintained. This position will work under our Facilities Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have five (5) plus years of experience in Building Maintenance or related fields; strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance processes; knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing is required; proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively; excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Starting hourly rate will be $15.50. Must have a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license.
